The blog Bach 2 psycho is a blog created by two students at our school made to teach you about psychology and music and how they can go hand in hand.

Their name comes from (Johann Sebastian) Bach, a German composer and one of the most famous musicians of all time, however, despise the correct pronunciation of his name, the blog’s name is a play of words, having the musician’s name “Bach” being supposed to read as “Back”, hence the name “Bach2psyco”.

Their blog also contains a logo:













The “B”, representing the first letter of the musician’s name as well as a musical clef and the “p” being the first letter of the word “psychology”

The image in the home page of their blog is also a photo of the creators next to their instruments, that form the roman numeral “II”, and it was taken in a music classroom they have both frequented.

Lastly, if you scroll down on their home page you are presented with a cute introduction video of the creators playing their instruments since their childhood and how they have both grown with music and how they want to share their love for it.





Why we chose this blog:

After seeing many of psychology blogs, this was the one our team could agree was the one that deserved our little spotlight. Even though their blog is not super complex and the concept of music is pretty simple if you just think about it that way, the way the blog manages to connect it with psychology in a way that is interesting and fun is worth some praise. 

Not counting the mandatory posts they have had to submit, all of their posts are connected to music somehow going from how it influence’s people’s emotions to a post about intervention music.





Suggestions:

We think the concept of the blog is great and they did a great job with it. However, in the home page, the posts seemed a bit disorganized and we could not open all of them. For instance, when you click the post callled "A música e as emoções" it opens another post, which is something that should be fixed.

Additionally, some of the posts seem off-center which can make a confusing home page.
